Tigra was very much pro-registration, even going so far as to serve as a double-agent/spy so that she could rat out the anti-registration forces. Plus, she's a former cop, and after the well-deserved beating she took at the hands of the Hood and his minions, I'd say she's very much Republican.
Firebird, while very much a spiritual person, seems more concerned with helping the sick, poor, and afflicted. In other words, a true Christian who cares less about moralizing and more about relieving human suffering. She's probably a Democrat, if anything.
I thought I read somewhere about Tigra wavering on her stance? I read a loaner copy of "Civil War," a good six months back, so my memory is a fuzzy. I'm not sure I ever knew Tigra was a cop. I mostly remember her as a rampant whore, so it saddens me to now associate her with Ann Coultier.
I can't image that Jesus would have anything but disdain for either political party in the U.S. Neither embrace values beyond self interest. That said, Firebird could go either way, but it seems to me she'd delude herself into "compassionate conservativism" due to the moral issues they claim to embrace. Actually, Cathy fell into that camp, as she was very good about making regular donations to her church when it came to social ills (food, clothes, toys, and even tithe.)
